Pay back your fiber to household, bit by bit

Fiber to household for more people with flexible payment solutions.

Improve your home with fiber

A new world of opportunities opens up when you install fiber in your home. No more waiting, no lag, no limits to the content you choose to interact with. But this kind of installation is a fairly large investment. Until recently, you had to pay a large lump sum, making this option less attractive to many people. Now more people can install fiber through our flexible payment solution. With Part Payment you can divide your payment over 60 months. You can pay more each month and reduce your loan quicker, and you can repay the loan at any time by paying the outstanding amount.

How does it work?

You pay nothing until your fiber services have been installed. When you receive the invoice – roughly two to four weeks after installation – you decide whether you want to pay the entire amount at once, or use Part Payment. You simply make your choice by paying either the entire amount or the specified Part Payment amount listed on your invoice. Couldn’t be easier than that. We carry out a standard credit check on everyone who orders Open Fiber. Fiber installations are available in Sweden and Finland, please note that the offers differ depending on the country.

Why is my monthly cost higher?
The interest rate that affects your monthly cost for loans with Telia Finance is based on our margin (fixed) and Stibor (variable). Due to the current global situation, the variable interest rate has now increased, which may result in a higher monthly cost. This also means that your monthly cost may change further in the future based on the variable (Stibor) interest rate.

What happens if I move?
The loan is personal, and as a borrower, you are obligated to repay your loan. Which is why you can’t transfer your remaining debt to the new property owner. If you move, you can choose to either pay off the entire loan or continue to pay off your debt on a monthly basis, even though you have sold the property.

How do I opt for e-invoice instead of a paper invoice?
You can register for an e-invoice through your bank by searching for Telia Finance Lån as the invoice issuer. E-invoice is free of charge. By opening the e-invoice as a PDF in your internet bank, you can see a specification of your monthly cost and remaining debt.

Is it possible to pay by direct debit?
We currently don’t offer direct debit. However, many banks offer automatic payments of e-invoices. Contact your bank for more information.

Can I pay off my loan faster?
Yes, you can pay extra at any time using the same OCR-number as usual to pay off your loan faster.

Can I pay off the entire loan in advance?
If you want to pay off the entire loan at once, simply change the payment amount to your remaining debt. There are no extra interest costs added when paying off the loan in advance.

How do I apply for a loan?
You do this on the order form when you place an order for your fiber installation.

Who can apply for the loan?
The person who orders the fiber installation and owns the property.

What is the term of the loan?
The loan term is 36 or 60 months depending on which contract you’ve chosen.

What is the monthly cost of the loan and what is the interest rate?
This information is provided in the fiber installation offer that we sent you.

Are there any additional fees?
If you don’t choose e-invoice through your bank, a paper invoice fee of 49 kr / 3,90 € per invoice will be added.

When does the loan start?
You will receive your monthly invoice when the fiber installation is completed.

Will I be credit checked?
Yes, a standard credit assessment is carried out by Sergel kredittjänster, no later than a few weeks after your order. You will receive a copy of the credit report.

What happens if my loan is not approved?
If your loan application is not approved, you will receive a one-time invoice requesting an advance payment. If we haven’t received your payment by the due date, we will cancel your delivery and terminate the agreement.

Can you invoice my company?
Our agreement is always with the property owner, not with a company. If the property owner is a legal entity, we will invoice that legal entity.

Is it possible to transfer the loan?
No, it's not possible. The loan is personal.
